The Sternglas watch Tachymeter Edition Meteor is a watch with a unique character, inspired by the fascinating expanses of space. With its sophisticated design and numerous functions, it has become a popular model among Sternglas fans. The case made of brushed, rust-proof 316L stainless steel gives the watch a powerful look, while the black PVD coating offers additional durability. The tachymeter is water-resistant up to 5 bar and is therefore suitable for daily contact with water. The black-turquoise multilayer dial with cross-cut is reminiscent of the look of meteorites and the skeleton hands with white highlights ensure good readability. The flat, double anti-reflective sapphire crystal protects the dial from scratches and supports the sporty, powerful design. The analog chronograph quartz movement equips the tachymeter with various functions such as a date display, small seconds, 24-hour display and stop functions for seconds and minutes. The magnifying glass with tachymeter scale enables the average speed to be measured. The screwed case back is decorated with an engraving of our solar system and each watch is consecutively numbered and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

However, all of these complications need to be cleverly installed. That is why the dial of the tachymeter consists of a total of 29 individual parts, making it the most complex dial of all Sternglas watches to date.

There are three different functions of the chronograph. The right chronograph has a 24-hour display. The lower chronograph has an integrated date function, which is surrounded by the totalizer of the small and continuously running seconds. The left chronograph shows the minutes that have passed when activated.
